Visit the Samdo Peak if you are in Namche Bazar and have some leisure time for exploring new areas. You can reach within 15 to 30 minutes at this site from Namche Bazaar. The Samdo Peak is actually located in the Gorkha region of Manaslu conservation area and has a total elevation of 16985 ft which is significant for new hikers. Lodging and tent camping is used for accommodation by the visitors. You can reach there by private car, bus or jeep.
Autumn and Spring are the best seasons to visit Samdo Peak. Hiking of this mountain is quite easy as the ridges are moderate and do not present a challenging trek. It can be said that once a newcomer surmount this peak, his confidence to go for other adventures will increase manifolds.
