Jagat Village is a traditional style small town in the Lamjung District of North-Central Nepal. It is in the Gandaki zone. Jagat is basically a Sankrit term generally used by the students to describe the normal state of consciousness.
In Nepali language, Jagat stands for ‘the World’. An earthquake of 7.9 magnitudes on the Richter scale hit this beautiful Jagat Village in 2015 and destroyed many beautiful houses as well as hotels. Climbers stay here after day-long trekking. Small but effectively run small hotels in the village will provide you quality food and resting facilities. You would be amazed to see the hospitality of the Nepali people. The attire of the many is traditional and it seems that the effects of modern-day technology are felt little over here in Jagat Village. But still, high-speed internet connection can be availed to stay connected with the world.
