Tadapani literally means ‘Far Water’ in the Nepali language. The genesis of this name has in water source which previously flowed from a long distance to the village. Many trails lead to Tadhpani town. A trail further moves from Chuile to Chomrong and Gurjung. Then another path which is basically a camping trek goes to the Hidden Lake and Khopra. Many term this trek as a hidden secret, so basically many important treks confluence here.
There are many chances that when you will camp here, the eerie call of Satyr Tragopan will awake you. The foreign and local tourists came to Tadapani for camping. Self-prepared breakfast and juices will give you inner joy and satisfaction. While traveling to Annapurna base camp, you must prefer for night stay in Tadapani. It will help you acclimatize with the local environment and learn the antique ways of interaction with the locals.
