Chhomrong is a village in the Annapurna area of Nepal and famous night stopover for those going to Annapurna sanctuary trek. Standing in the village you can enjoy the outstanding scenery of Himalaya, Hiunchuli, Machupachare, and Annapurna, especially in the morning when the sun just arise.
To reach Chhomrong, one must be ready to go on foot as there is no road or airstrip to carry to the hilltop village. However, after day-long trekking, you can eat chocolate from the Chhomrong cottage. Many shops are there which sell the trekking necessities also. A souvenir shop is also there as well as a clean drinking water station. Money exchange facility helps you in managing your cash. Most of the hotels have their restaurants also and alike many places in Nepal, your stay and food will be from the same place. Himal Cafe and Bar is the only reasonable hotel in the town, located near the lucky guest hotel.
