Once you will venture into jungles of Anaga Rural Park, you will be welcomed by the Mirador Cruz del Carmen lookout point which offers an amazing view. Moreover, La Laguna’s UNESCO World Heritage site can also be seen from here. Outline of Tiede is in front has added to the value of this point. You can hike to Mirador Cruz del Carmen from Las Mercedes village - trek to this place is moderately difficult, almost 4 hrs of trekking is sufficing to reach and you must carry the food, water, and suitable dresses. Alternatively, you can just use your car to get to the Mirador Cruz del Carmen.
Mirador Cruz del Carmen is the only place in Anaga Jungle where is a wheelchair-accessible path to admire the beauty of the rainforest.
It is strongly advisable place due to the stunning views and unforgettable scenery of surroundings. Other than a viewpoint, a visitor center, market and a restaurant are also available. Access to here is provided from Motorway TF-12. Signboards along the way will lead you to there. If you have an affair with nature, then taking a camera for photographs will certainly help you in making your trip to enjoy.
