The journey begins in Hue, Vietnam’s former imperial capital. Explore the Imperial City (Citadel), a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, and uncover stories of the Nguyen Dynasty within the Forbidden Purple City. Visit Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue’s iconic spiritual symbol along the Perfume River, and enjoy the city’s refined royal cuisine. Continue discovering Hue with visits to Khai Dinh Tomb, known for its unique East–West architectural blend, and Minh Mang Tomb, a serene royal mausoleum set harmoniously within nature. A relaxing dragon boat cruise on the Perfume River offers insight into local life and traditional crafts.
Leaving Hue, the tour heads north to Quang Tri Province, a region deeply connected to Vietnam’s modern history. Visit La Vang Holy Land, the most important Catholic pilgrimage site in Central Vietnam, and explore Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River, once the dividing line between North and South Vietnam, while learning stories of war and national reunification.
The journey continues to Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site renowned for its extraordinary cave systems. Explore Phong Nha Cave by traditional dragon boat along the Son River, discovering its underground river and dramatic limestone formations. The experience culminates with Paradise Cave (Thien Duong Cave), one of the longest dry caves in Asia, offering a peaceful and immersive walk through vast chambers and pristine natural beauty.
On the final day, visit Vung Chua – Yen Island, the final resting place of General Vo Nguyen Giap, set against tranquil coastal scenery, before returning to Hue or Dong Hoi Airport, concluding a meaningful journey through Central Vietnam.
