Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Dong Thap
Depart from Ho Chi Minh City and travel to Dong Thap Province, passing through agricultural landscapes and upper Mekong floodplains. In the afternoon, visit Sa Dec Flower Village, one of the largest flower-growing areas in southern Vietnam, and learn about local horticulture and nature-based livelihoods. Overnight in Dong Thap.
Day 2: Dong Thap – Tram Chim National Park
Start early with a boat trip in Tram Chim National Park, a key wetland reserve of Vietnam. Explore flooded grasslands and canals, observe water birds in their natural habitat, and, depending on the season, have a chance to see the rare Sarus cranes.
