Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Tra Vinh
Depart from Ho Chi Minh City and travel to Tra Vinh Province, home to one of the largest Khmer communities in southern Vietnam. Enjoy lunch with traditional Khmer cuisine before visiting key Khmer cultural and religious sites, including Ang Pagoda, Hang Pagoda, and Ao Ba Om. Learn about Khmer architecture, spiritual beliefs, and local life. Dinner is served at a local restaurant. Overnight in Tra Vinh.
Day 2: Tra Vinh – Soc Trang – Can Tho
Continue to Soc Trang Province to explore two of the most unique pagodas in the Mekong Delta: Bat Pagoda (Chua Doi), famous for its thousands of bats, and Clay Pagoda (Chua Dat Set), known for its remarkable clay structures. After lunch, transfer to Can Tho. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing dinner cruise along the Hau River, taking in the city’s nighttime scenery. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 3: Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Ho Chi Minh City
Start early with a boat trip to Cai Rang Floating Market, where you can experience the lively river-based trading culture of the Mekong Delta. After the visit, return to Ho Chi Minh City, concluding the tour around midday.
