Mu Cang Chai Terraces & Tram Tau Hot Springs 3D2N
This 3-day Northwest Vietnam adventure takes you from Hanoi to the stunning mountain region of Mu Cang Chai, famous for its world-renowned terraced rice fields. Travel through scenic valleys and highland passes, stopping at ethnic villages along the way. Stay overnight in a traditional homestay, where you will experience daily life, local cuisine, and cultural performances of the H’mong and Thai communities.
On the second day, explore Mu Cang Chai’s terraced landscapes through light trekking and photography before traveling along the spectacular Khau Pha Pass, one of the four great mountain passes of Northwest Vietnam. Relax at Tram Tau hot springs, surrounded by peaceful natural scenery. The journey concludes with a leisurely morning in Tram Tau and a scenic drive back to Hanoi, offering an authentic blend of nature, culture, and relaxation.

07:00 – 12:00: Depart from Hanoi to Mu Cang Chai (approx. 5–6 hours by car)

12:00 – 13:00: Lunch at a local restaurant
Taste Northwest specialties such as grilled river fish, bamboo sticky rice (com lam), and colorful sticky rice.
13:30 – 17:30: Check-in homestay, explore H’mong village
Walk around the village, participate in brocade weaving and traditional cooking. Experience daily life and culture of local ethnic communities.
18:00 – 20:00: Dinner at homestay
Enjoy ethnic cultural performances such as Xoe dance and Then singing.
