Day 1: Unveiling the Landscape and Local Life

Embark on your adventure with a luxurious pick-up at your Hanoi hotel between 6:20 and 6:40 AM. Settle into your comfortable limousine and prepare to be captivated by the ever-changing scenery. As we depart Hanoi's Old Quarter, witness the transformation from bustling city life to idyllic rural villages. Rolling rice paddies and majestic limestone mountains paint a picturesque landscape throughout the journey along the Hanoi - Lang Son highway.

Our adventure continues through Lang Son province, where you can stretch your legs and capture breathtaking viewpoints. Immerse yourself in the local rhythm of life as we stop at a charming village. Mingle with friendly residents, witness their daily routines, and marvel at the vast sugarcane farms. Learn about traditional farming methods and gain a deeper appreciation for the region's agricultural heritage.

By lunchtime (around 12:45 PM - 1:00 PM), we'll arrive in the charming town of Quang Hoa. Savour a delicious local meal before continuing our journey to the magnificent Ban Gioc Waterfall.

A Stone's Throw from the Waterfall: Khuoi Ky Village

Before reaching the falls, we'll stop at the enchanting Khuoi Ky village, also known as the "Stone House Village." Located just 2 km from the waterfall, this traditional village will be your home for the night. Check into your comfortable homestay and unwind before venturing onwards to the awe-inspiring Ban Gioc Waterfall.

As we approach the falls, be prepared to be mesmerized. Catch a glimpse of the China border and witness the majestic waterfall cascading down the valley, even from the main road. Upon reaching the main gate, we'll embark on a short walk to the heart of the falls. Here, your guide will arrange a traditional sampan boat ride, allowing you to experience the waterfall's grandeur from a unique perspective. Spend an unforgettable hour or more cruising close to the cascading waters.

After a day filled with exploration, return to your homestay for some free time. Relax, stroll through the village, enjoy a delicious dinner at your homestay, and perhaps join a fun-filled "happy water party" (social gathering with drinks).

Day 2: Unveiling Hidden Gems and Panoramic Vistas

After a nourishing breakfast at 7:30 AM, we'll check out of the homestay and hop back into our comfortable limousine. By 8:30 AM, we'll embark on a journey to discover the magnificent Nguom Ngao Cave, considered one of the most beautiful caves in Northeast Vietnam. Take approximately 1.5 hours to explore its wonders. Be amazed by the captivating stalactites and stalagmites, some resembling fantastical creatures. Let your imagination run wild as you delve into this awe-inspiring natural wonder.

A Hike with a Reward: Ban Gioc Pagoda

Following our spelunking adventure, we'll head to the Ban Gioc Pagoda. Prepare for a short but rewarding hike of 300 steps. As you reach the summit, be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the Ban Gioc Waterfall and the Chinese border. The pagoda itself offers a glimpse into the region's history and spiritual significance.

The Journey Home

By 11:00 AM, we'll board the limousine and begin our return journey to Hanoi. Take in the beauty of the passing landscapes and villages. We'll make a stop for lunch at a local restaurant (around 12:30 PM) to savour authentic Vietnamese cuisine. As we continue our journey along the China border national way to Lang Son and then onto the Lang Son - Hanoi highway, keep your eyes peeled for more photo opportunities.

Expect to arrive back in Hanoi between 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM, brimming with memories of your unforgettable adventure in Cao Bang.
