Walk the streets of San Sebastian de La Laguna, World Heritage Site by UNESCO, visit local colourful market and later drive to Anaga to walk in the green and lush Las Mercedes forest with endemic trees and fabulous views on the wildest part of the island - Anaga Mountains.
We pick-up the tour participants by our mini-bus at the morning directly from their hotels or from a bigger hotel located nearby yours in Los Cristianos, Costa Adeje and Las Americas. After our small group is completed and everyone is in the mini-bus we drive across whole the island directly to the North - the drive to La Laguna takes us approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
We stop in La Laguna historical centre and then having guided walk in the historical part of the town also visiting local market by the way. The walk in La Laguna takes us about an hour and then we continue our journey to the North - to get in touch with nature on the trail in the Las Mercedes forest. I would advise to give more time to explore La Laguna, 1h 15 min is too short, especially if you wanna grab a bite as well. Hike wise -> it was mentioned it is moderate level, it is easy. There is some uphill walking which could be challenging for elderly people, but it is not moderate lvl (comparing to Los Gigantes to Santiago del Teide hike, which is officially moderate).
