We shall drive through the affluent part of Johannesburg, the Houghton Estates. This is where you will see the Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory and the two houses which where once occupied by Nelson Mandela.
Our next stop will be at the Constitutional Hill. Once a notorious jail but now is home to the highest court in the country. This jail was divided into black and white sections.
We shall proceed to the apartheid museum. This is the best museum with the recent history of our country relating to the segregation system. Here you will learn about how bad that system was, more especially to the black population.
Soweto is a township. Areas like Soweto are those areas which where allocated to the black people during the times of segregation. this is a multi cultural township. During the apartheid times, Soweto was the heart of the struggle and home to many activists. Today Soweto stands as a historical township with a number of historical sites, such as the Mandela museum, the Hector Peterson memorial, the Walter Sisulu Square of dedication and a few others.

10:15 depart Conhill and drive through Braamfontein, over the Nelson Mandela Bridge into downtown, Newtown area of Street art.

10:45 Apartheid museum.
2 hours tour.
13:00 Soweto township.
Drive through the affluent parts, shanty towns, Bara hospital, Orlando towers, Vilakazi street, Mandela museum Tutu house, Hector Peterson memorial.
There is an option for lunch stop in Soweto.
Also you can walk freely on the one and only street in the world which has been the home to 2 peace Nobel prize winners, Desmond Tutu and Nelson Mandela.

This is the house he stayed in with his first and second wives. But one at a time.
15 minutes guided tour.
14:00 The Hector Peterson memorial.
This is a museum dedicated to the children of Soweto and the country at large for them to stand bravely against the armed forces of that cruel government. More than 560 children died during this uprising.
Walk through the Garden of remembrance and see the picture of Hector Peterson the youngest child to be short and killed in the early moments of the uprising.
