Description
Jozi, as Johannesburg is colloquially known, is the largest city in South Africa , and also the capital of Gauteng province. The city really started in 1886, when an Australian prospector, George Harrison discovered gold here.
Tents and wagons were replaced by wood and iron structures and again replaced by brick buildings. A town was dermacated, and a large bustling market square was established. Building became taller and taller and today the city boast one of the tallest building in Africa, the 50-storey Carlton Center, built in 1973.

We start at 9:00AM from collection point and drive to The Constitutional Hill, a place built originally as a forte during the Anglo- Boer war, turned into a prison where ordinary criminals and freedom fighters where incarcerated and human rights violently abused. Today it is a place where human rights are protected. We then proceed to the Apartheid museum.
