Gap Travels with the Gorilla Trekking Experience, you get to see and be with a family of Gorillas for an hour. A family of gorillas has about 8 to 10 gorillas including the silverback and the babies. This experience also includes a Hike in the beautiful scenic Virunga ranges.

Description
Gorilla Trekking Experience
Gorilla Trekking can be done in the Virunga mountains of Uganda, Rwanda, and Congo and the Bwindi Impenetrable forest of Uganda. It is an 8-hour trek that involves an hour with a family of gorillas and beautiful scenic views. During the hike, you could see various bird species and other forest animals like monkeys and elephants and also have a one-on-one experience with the Batwa (pygmies), the ancient forest people. A gorilla permit costs 800$ in Uganda and 1500$ in Rwanda.

Day 1 - Set off from Entebbe Airport in Uganda to Kisoro district Or set off from Kigali Airport to Musanze District or Kisoro district depending on the Gorilla permit.
Day 2 - Gorilla Trekking in either Volcanoes National Park for Rwanda or Mgahinga National Park & Bwindi Impenetrable forest for Uganda. The activity starts as early as 7 am and we recommend carrying water and a packed lunch.
Return to the preferred choice of accommodation, outdoor dinner by a fire and the night sky
Day 3 - Return to Entebbe or Kigali for departure.
