Day 1 of Golden Monkey Trekking in Rwanda - Kigali City Tour

Arrival in Kigali: Welcomed by your tour driver and check-in at hotel. Depending on your arrival time, start Kigali city tour and experience about Rwanda and the city during the pre-colonial period, colonial and post-colonial periods i.e. through independence, genocide period and current trends. This is done by visiting different sites in Kigali and its suburbs. You will visit the genocide memorial, Camp Kigali Memorial, Viewing Kigali at the top of the Mt.Kigali, School visit, a visit to the local market and ending the tour, drop off at your hotel. Should you wish to go out to the bar before 10:00 pm, we can take you there.

Day 2 of Golden Monkey Trekking in Rwanda - Akagera National Park

Transfer to Akagera National Park at 5:00 AM for a full day game drive, sighting wild animals. Overnight in Kigali.

Day 3 of Golden Monkey Trekking in Rwanda - Volcanoes National Park

Morning transfer to the Volcanoes National Park. En route visit a local agricultural entrepreneur and visit Kirenge Cultural Village. Overnight at your Hotel in Musanze.

Day 4 of Golden Monkey Trekking in Rwanda - Golden monkeys trekking experience

Breakfast at 6:30 AM and get ready for Golden Monkeys trekking. Check up at the park’s head office at 7:00 AM, be assigned with a guide and start your trek. Afterwards, drive to Rubavu for Hot spring tour, Lake Kivu boat trip and drive back to Kigali in the evening, drop off at the Airport or your Hotel.
