Description
Cusco: Rainbow Mountain guided with buffet breakfast and lunch
Join our exciting guided hiking tour to the spectacular Rainbow Mountain. Your adventure begins with pickup from your accommodation in Cusco between 04:00 and 04:30 in the morning. After a 2-hour journey, we will arrive in Cusipata for a comforting breakfast and supplies for the walk.
Subsequently, we will travel for 1 more hour to the starting point of the trail, located at 4850 m. Here, you will begin a 3.5 km hike, exploring flat and uphill terrain until you reach the top of Rainbow Mountain, (at 5,010 m.)
Throughout the journey, you will enjoy stunning views and encounters with wild alpacas, llamas, and vicuñas. Once at the top, you will have free time to rest and, weather permitting, take in the panoramic views and take memorable photos.
After descending for an hour, you will return to the starting point and take transportation to Cusipata, where a delicious local buffet lunch will await you. Finally, you will begin the journey back to Cusco, arriving at the Plaza de Armas between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Live a unique experience in Peruvian nature with our tour to Rainbow Mountain.
