Day 1: Nairobi - Lake Elmenteita

Depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive through the spectacular Great Rift Valley with a scenic stop at a viewpoint overlooking the escarpment. Continue to Lake Elmenteita, arriving in time for lunch and relaxation by the lake. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided nature walk or birdwatching experience around the soda lake, home to flamingos, pelicans, and numerous migratory birds.

Day 2: Lake Elmenteita - Lake Nakuru National Park - Lake Borgoria

After breakfast, proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park for a morning game drive. Explore the park’s acacia forests and lakeshore habitats while searching for rhinos, lions, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, and leopards. After lunch, continue north to Lake Bogoria, arriving in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Lake Borgoria exploration

Spend the day exploring the dramatic landscapes surrounding Lake Bogoria. The surrounding volcanic scenery and acacia woodland also support kudu, zebras, warthogs, and other wildlife.

In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the Mara plains in search of elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and vast herds of plains game.

Day 5: Full day in Maasai Mara
