8 Days Solo traveler African safari in Kenya Itinerary: DAY 1 - Arrive in Nairobi - Pick up from Nairobi airport and transfer to your hotel the next night at Sarova Panafric Hotel. - Overnight Sarova Panafric Hotel. - Meal plan - Bed and Breakfast. DAY 2 - Nairobi - Mount Kenya - After breakfast, depart Nairobi to Nanyuki arriving in time for lunch at Shakina hotel or Simba Hotel. - In the afternoon we go to Mau Mau caves walk which is one day walk in Mount Kenya. The Mau Mau caves are a historic site that was once used as a hideout by the Kenyan Freedom Fighters during the Mau Mau uprising of the year 1952 – 1960. The caves are located in Nanyuki in Laikipia County deep in the Mount Kenya Forest Reserve. - The British forces bombed the caves in 1959 after the location was obtained by the Land and Freedom Army and many lives were lost during the bombardment. Some of their remains can still be seen amongst the rubble. Now a tranquil environment offers a complimentary setting as a tourist and historic site. - You will come back to the hotel for dinner and overnight at Shaika Hotel. - At least by doing these caves, you will be able to taste what your colleagues did when they traveled with us. DAY 3 - Nanyuki – Sweetwaters - After breakfast, we head to sweet waters for a nice spice game drives coming back to the hotel in the afternoon. - The game drive is a very good activity. The sanctuary is very much entertaining and refreshing. Chimpanzees love to interact with the people. The sanctuary is attached to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Stay at Simba’s hotel for a night stay. Your three times meal would be hosted by us.

DAY 4 - Nanyuki – Nakuru National Park - On this day of the Solo traveler African safari in Kenya, we leave for the Lake Nakuru National Park after the early breakfast. A game drive is planned for you in the evening. Depart Nanyuki after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving at your hotel in time for lunch. Flamingos in the Lake Nakuru National Park can be seen moving here and there. As per estimates, almost 400 species can be located in the Lake. Moreover, a large number of Rothschild’s Giraffe, Waterbuck, Leopard, Lion, White Rhino and Baboon can be seen in the park. These species have made the lake famous across the world. - Overnight at City Max Hotel or Golden Palace. DAY 5 - Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara National Park - Leave for the Masai Mara Game reserve after the breakfast. After the game drive activity in the Mara reserve, be on time for lunch. The reserve is part of vast Serengeti plains due to wildebeest migration. Big Five are living in the Mara for ages which include the cape buffalo, elephant, lion and the Rhino. Next game drive would be after the lunch break

- Overnight at Mara Sidai Camp or Mara Enchoro Wildlife Tented Camp. DAY 6 of the Solo traveler African safari - Explore Masai Mara Game Reserve - Masai Mara is known for the wildlife that it has. Game drive activities are regularly planned in the reserve area. Mammals are many and can be seen from distances. Animals living in the Park include Impala, Masai Giraffe, Topi, Zebra and Grant’s gazelle. A hot air balloon is available if you want to enjoy one but it will incur an extra cost at you. We also have the plan to take you to the Masai Village where one can see the tradition and culture of the locals.

- Overnight at Mara Sidai Camp or Mara Enchoro Wildlife Tented Camp.

DAY 7 - Masai Mara Game Reserve – Naivasha -Today’s game drive activity would start right after breakfast.

- Drive to Lake Naivasha arriving in the evening with a nice boat ride in the lake coming back to the lodge late in the evening for dinner and overnight stay. - Meal Plan - Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner DAY 8 - Lake Naivasha – Nairobi - Depart Lake Naivasha after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving in the Kenyan capital in time for early lunch at Carnivore restaurant and Hotel. - After lunch, you will be driven to the airport to catch your international flight back home.
