GOLDEN MEMORIES OF KENYA SAFARI BY SGR TRAIN

Day 1 NAIROBI

Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport, you will be met by our representative who will give you a brief welcoming note after which you will be transferred to your hotel. After checking in, you will enjoy a day at leisure.

Day 2 AMBOSELI

After your breakfast, you will be met by our driver who will transfer you to the Nairobi train station to board your train at 0800hrs to Mtito Andei intermediate station, arriving by 10:44 AM our driver guide will pick you up and take you through your safari briefing before departing to Amboseli National Park. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Enjoy some time to cool off before departing and proceed on your first game drive in Amboseli National Park later in the evening. Come back to your lodge as the sun sets.

Day 3 AMBOSELI

After your early morning breakfast, proceed on your morning game drive exploring the greater Amboseli national park. This park offers you a big opportunity to enjoy large herds of elephants as they stream into the swamp (marshes) that gets their water from the water table that is supplied by Mt. Kilimanjaro. If the skies will be clear, you will have the most spectacular view of Africa’s tallest standing mountain. Birdlife is great here with flocks of flamingos present amongst many other birds You will be back at your lodge mid-morning for an opportunity to enjoy the lodge facilities with a hot lunch. A restful afternoon will follow later proceeding on an evening game drive. An optional Maasai Cultural visit to interact and learn more about the world-known Maasai community payable directly (30 USD per person)

Overnight at Amboseli Kibo Safari Camp or Similar FB

Day 4 T. WEST

Very early morning game drive in Amboseli. Try your luck with a sunrise game drive in this beautiful park. You will later be back to your lodge for your breakfast before checking out and proceeding on your drive to Tsavo West. Once you have finished with your gate formalities, you will start meandering in bushes and shrubs coming to this beautiful extinct lava flow. Shetani lava, named by the locals meaning “Devil’s lava flow”, was active hundreds of years ago but left behind a wonderful scenery. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Have a relaxing afternoon before proceeding on your evening game drive.

Overnight at Severin Safari Camp or Similar FB

Day 5 T. EAST

After your early morning breakfast, check out and proceed on a game drive en route to your next destination. Drive via Mzima Springs, an Oasis of life that supplies water to this ecosystem all the way to the Coast. After the Tsavo East National Park gate formalities, proceed on your game driving en route to your camp and arriving for lunch. Following a relaxing afternoon, proceed on an evening game drive.

Day 6 T. EAST

Depart after picnic breakfast and proceed on your morning game drive. Enjoy a beautiful sunrise while on a game drive in his Theatre of the Wild. You will later proceed on more game drives as you make your way to your camp to escape from the scorching sun and enjoy some time at your beautiful camp. Enjoy your hot lunch and a nice break enjoying activities at the amazing water hole. You will later proceed on an evening to enjoy the sun setting in this beautiful park.

Day 7 DEPARTURES

After breakfast you will be dropped off at the Voi Train station where you will catch your train to Nairobi at 09:48 AM, arriving in Nairobi at 14:07PM. drop off at the Crown Plaza Nairobi Airport Hotel, for a refresher package, the rooftop offers a beautiful view over the green surroundings, enjoy a drink at the bar(own account) or take a rest at the swimming pool as you await your flight schedule back home. Later transfer to the Terminal for your flight as per schedule.
