Day 1 Nairobi

Met by our Safari Representative at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After a brief welcoming note, you will be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure at your hotel with an optional half-day excursion through Nairobi. This will be payable directly on the spot.

Day 2 Drive to Samburu

Arrival in Samburu will be by lunchtime. After lunch embark on a game drive to sight resident wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, and the Blue-necked Somali Ostrich that are rare elsewhere in the country. Dinner and overnight will be at the spectacular Elephant Bedroom

Day 3 Samburu

You will spend a full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. (Optional visit to Samburu villages). Meals and overnight Elephant Bedroom

The highlights of the Samburu game reserve are the spectacular scenic beauty, rivers, and forests. It is an area where the local people have a rich and colorful heritage. The reserves have numerous permanent springs and a wealth of wildlife which includes leopards, hippos, elephants, lions, reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebra, and crocodiles in the Ewaso Nyiro River. Over 365 species of birds have been identified in the sanctuaries.

Day 4 Samburu - Naivasha

Early morning breakfast before departing at 07:00H and proceed to a drive to Lake Naivasha, one of the freshwater lakes found on the Kenyan Great Rift Valley. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon on leisure with an optional boat excursion 30USD

Overnight at a Naivasha Sopa Lodge (FB) or similar

Day 5 Naivasha to Mara

After your early breakfast, meet your driver guide for a safari brief before departing and driving to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will drive past the scenic Great Rift Valley escarpment, the Suswa plains before arriving at the Mara. Make it for lunch at your camp. You will enjoy your first game drive in the evening.

Overnight at Entumoto Camp- (FB) or similar

Day 6 Mara

Depart after breakfast and proceed for a full day of game drives in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will be on a mission to find the Big Five as you interact with the entire flora and fauna that make this ecosystem complete. You will be back to your camp in the afternoon. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon relaxing.

Overnight at Entumoto Camp - (FB)

Day 7 Mara - Nairobi

Breakfast at leisure then depart for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon, drop off at the Crown Plaza Nairobi Airport Hotel, for a refresher package, the rooftop offers a beautiful view over the green surroundings, enjoy a drink at the bar (not included) or take a rest at the swimming pool as you await your flight schedule back home. Later transfer to the Terminal for your flight as per schedule.
