Itinerary of the Big 5 Kenya Safari: DAY 1 & 2 - Unique Samburu | 2 Nights - There will be a welcome gesture in the form of our fully equipped private tour guide upon your arrival/ The guide will be waiting at Kenya’s Jomo Kenyatta International airport. - He will also lead towards the Wilson airport which is located nearby, for the flight to the Samburu National Reserve. - At this point another guide will take to the Saruni Samburu, enriched with the beautiful view as it is located on the edge of mountains. - Bundle fun-oriented events are there including neck and head massage, walk along with the cultural trips and picnic spots including the traditional song and dance. DAYS 3 & 4 - Tracking Rhinos on foot | 2 Nights - Samburu’s private guide will take you to the Saruni Rhino where a mini-city of tents is already established in the privately own wildlife reserve which is without any doubt is one of those places, not only from Kenya – or from Africa indeed – where you can spot the endangered rhinos at the doorstep and seldom visits of elephants. - Enriching your cultural diversity, your guide will take to the place where local herdsmen are using songs to bring their cattle for drinking water from the wells. DAYS 5. 6 & 7 - Explore the Masai Mara | 3 Nights - By air, it will take around 90 minutes to travel from Samburu to Masai Mara allowing you to change to the climate rapidly. If any single reason is pointed out for the specialty of Masa Mara, it would be the migration of different wildlife in bulk which takes place twice in the year. - Firstly this migration takes place in June and secondly in November. This time of the year is best to witness the incredible encounters of the world’s best predators including lion, tigers, cheetahs, wild dogs and hyenas. It is amazingly rewarding as the guide will lead to the center of Mara where you can enjoy bushy out fields and you can also avail the opportunity to book the optional flight in air balloons to have the view of the location from the airplane. - Please ensure that this adventure will take place before down so champagne breakfast will be awarded afterwards. DAY 8 - Farewell Kenya - On your way back to the airstrip in rhino sanctuary, you can witness the crocodiles and hippos of Mara River once again. - You will travel to the Jomo Kenyatta International airport along with private guide and company vehicle. If time permits, you can take dinner break at Carnivore or Talisman restaurant. - End of the Big 5 Kenya Safari.
