7 Day Great Highlight of Kenya Masai Mara Tanzania Serengeti Migration

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be pick up from the hotel by the driver guide at 0830am and thereafter drive to masai mara via via Narok town to Masai Mara National reserve the land of the Masai Tribe. The proud young Masai warrior nomads with their plaited hair red cloaks and spear challenge your curiosity.

The 700-square-mile game Reserve is the Africa of your dream complete with animals grazing amid the superb rolling landscape of gentle hills and acacia woodlands.

Check in to your first game drive. Afternoon game drive in reserve. Return to the camp before dark.

Your dinner and overnight at Giraffe hills Mara camp,

Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve

Today there will be a possibility to take an optional hot air balloon ride (costs excluded). “Take to the skies for the ultimate Masai Mara wildlife adventure, soaring in a hot air balloon over herds of game to the inner reaches of the Mara. You’ll ascend in the early morning, when winds are calmest. Watch as the professional crew fills the balloon with hot air. Slowly the big, colorful bag begins to bulge and take shape.

After your incredible flight, it’s time to come back down to earth for breakfast. You might wonder what all the ordinary people are doing on this perfect African morning! Before leaving, the pilot will present you with your balloon flight.

Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha

After an early breakfast, Set out for an early morning game drive in the reserve. This is usually the most popular game viewing time. During the early hours temperatures are low, thus providing a favorable atmosphere both for the game and the viewer. Lion, Cheetah and Leopard roam the vast grasslands in search for their next meal; it may be an unsuspecting impala or even a small one like the warthog. Whatever the players, the spectacle of nature unfolding is always awe inspiring! Arrive for lunch at the lodge The afternoon will be free time to wander around a 'non-touristy' town where the Pax can do some shopping, internet.

Overnight at Naivasha West Beach Camp

Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Arusha

After breakfast we will depart for Arusha via Nairobi. Our journey will take us across the border into Tanzania, and we will arrive in the picturesque town of Arusha in time for lunch. Arusha sits at the foot of rugged Mount Meru and is the gateway to most of Tanzania’s safari areas. The afternoon will be spent at your leisure.

Dinner and overnight will be at Forest Hill Hotel

Day 5: Arusha to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you will transfer to the famous Serengeti National Park. This park is to Tanzania what the Masai Mara Game Reserve is to Kenya. Covering 14,763 sq km, the Serengeti is dominated by vast, open plains and an abundance of wildlife. A picnic lunch will be provided en route, and the afternoon will be spent game viewing and absorbing the breathtaking.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Transfer to the Ngorongoro crater via Olduvai Gorge. Ngorongoro is an impressive 20km wide volcanic crater with 600m walls. The views from the crater rim are breathtaking, and there is an ever-present abundance of wildlife due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor. Olduvai Gorge is famed for the discovery of 3.5 million year-old fossil fragments from an early human civilization. We will enjoy lunch overlooking the crater and the afternoon will be spent at Game drive.

Overnight and Dinner at Fanaka safari lodge

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater to Nairobi

After breakfast you will be driven to Arusha for your transfer to Nairobi via Namanga boarder, Lunch enroute. You will arrive by 1500hrs in Nairobi for the transfer to the international airport.
