6 Days Amboseli Naivasha Masai Mara budget group Safari by Minivan

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Our local guide will pick you from your hotel, accommodation or Airport for a drive across the Athi plains home of the Maasai tribe to Amboseli National Park in time for lunch followed by evening schedule game drive. In addition to Elephants, Antelopes, Zebras, Wildebeests, Buffaloes and the elusive Leopard, nearly every vista within the park is framed by the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the horizon. Overnight at the Campsite.

Day 2: Explore Amboseli National Park

Enjoy morning and evening game drives in Amboseli National Park. Elephants, Antelopes, Zebras, Wildebeests, Buffaloes and Giraffes. Predators stalk the herds of grazing animals, recreating the age-old drama of life and death under the African sun, in a setting so lushly beautiful. We return to our campsite for Overnight stay.

Day 3: Amboseli – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, depart Amboseli for Lake Naivasha lunch enroute. Drive further to Lake Naivasha arriving in time for an afternoon game drive in Hells Gate National Park. Optionally you can go for a nature walk at Crescent Island which is an excellent way to see wild animals while on foot. The Island is a private game sanctuary, which is home to Zebras, Wildebeests, Gazelles, Vervet Monkeys, Hares, Genet Cats, Waterbucks and Giraffes or Boat ride at an extra cost. Overnight at a budget hotel.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha — Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Depart after breakfast to Masai Mara Game Reserve. Lunch en route. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great Wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. On arrival, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Mara Game Reserve – one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Overnight stay in Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

Day 5: Discover Maasai Mara Game Reserve

A full day will be spent in Masai Mara game viewing in search of great predators and perhaps even cubs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and Leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During our stay we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Maasai people or early morning balloon ride at a cost. Overnight stay in Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

Day 6: Maasai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi

Early morning tea/coffee or Hot chocolate then depart for a morning optional pre-breakfast game drive. Back to the accommodation for breakfast, then depart to Narok for lunch to arriving in Nairobi in the evening to end your budget safari.
