Day 1 Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve

A 7:00 AM pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, embarking on a scenic drive with a photo stop overlooking the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival at your Basic Tented Camp in the Maasai Mara, you will have lunch before setting out on your first thrilling afternoon game drive (4:00 PM – 6:30 PM) in the reserve to search for the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino) and other wildlife, returning to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 Full day exploring Maasai Mara

A full-day game drive, starting with an early breakfast before heading out with a packed lunch to explore the vast reserve, including a visit to the Mara River, famous for its hippos, crocodiles, and the seasonal Great Migration; the extended game drive concludes back at the Basic Tented Camp for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 Maasai Mara National Reserve – Lake Nakuru National Park

After an early breakfast, you have the option of visiting a traditional Maasai cultural village (at an extra cost) before checking out around 9:00 AM and departing for Lake Nakuru National Park, with lunch provided en route. You will arrive at the Hillcourt Resort & Spa in the evening, giving you time to relax and enjoy dinner before your overnight stay.

Day 4 Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

Start with an early breakfast at the hotel, followed by a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru, focusing on sightings of the Black and White Rhinos, Nubian giraffe, and the spectacular pink flamingos (seasonal); afterward, you depart for Lake Naivasha, where lunch is served en route, and you check into the Chambai Safari Hotel. The afternoon allows for relaxation or an optional boat ride on Lake Naivasha (payable directly to the operators) for hippo and bird viewing.

Your final day,

Day 5 Naivasha – Nairobi

Begin with an early breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to Hell's Gate National Park for the unique chance to cycle (bike rentals are paid directly), hike, or take nature walks through its dramatic landscape. Following this adventure, you depart for Nairobi, enjoying lunch en route and an optional final stop for last-minute shopping before being dropped off at your hotel, marking the end of your incredible safari journey.
