5 DAYS AMBOSELI, LAKE NAIVASHA & MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE SAFARI
The 5-day tour leaves from Nairobi and stays a night at the Amboseli national park with game viewing drives to spot wildlife and maybe if weather permits, views of the Mount Kilimanjaro snow-capped peaks. Tour proceeds for a night at the rift valley Lake Naivasha with a boat ride to explore the freshwater lake and view hippos & abundant bird life. Tour also includes a guided walking safari at the Crescent Island in Lake Naivasha. Tour culminates at the Masai Mara game reserve where we marvel at the undulating plains and scenery as we hunt for the Big five on game viewing drives. Safari accommodation is in a selection of economy, comfort, superior comfort or luxury safari lodges or tented camps (depending on your style / budget). Tour transport and game viewing drives are by pop up top 4 x 4 Land Cruiser jeep. Customized pop up top safari minivans can be provided at a lesser specified cost.

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli (250 km. – Approx. 4 Hrs)
0700 hrs: You shall be collected from Nairobi airport / your Nairobi area hotel or residence Depart and proceed to the Amboseli National Park.
The morning drive is via the Nairobi – Mombasa highway and through Masai country to the Amboseli which lies on the floor of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrival at the Amboseli is in the late afternoon and shall be spent on game-viewing drives in search of elephant, cheetah, lion, and other plains game. Mount Kilimanjaro in its majesty shall provide the most natural background for wildlife photography.

Day 2: Amboseli – Lake Naivasha (340 km: Approx. 5-6 hrs)
Early morning game and scenery viewing drive Extra game drive after breakfast. Proceed to Lake Naivasha on the floors of the Great Rift Valley. There shall be a lunch stop at a Nairobi suburb restaurant Arrive at the lake Naivasha in the late afternoon. What to do at Naivasha… Bird watching, boat ride, guided walking safari at Crescent Island, optional Hell’s Gate visit.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara (240Km – Approx. 4-5 hours)
On an early morning boat ride explore Lake Naivasha and spot exotic bird species, hippos, and small plains game. Enjoy a guided walking safari at the Crescent Island. The option of visiting the Hell’s Gate by bicycle and hiking is available. Later proceed to the Masai Mara game reserve. Arrive at Masai Mara in time for an afternoon game-viewing drive.

Day 4: Full day – Masai Mara
Today shall be a game-viewing extravaganza! Masai Mara Game Reserve remains the most exciting wildlife ecosystem of the Natural world. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region. The scenic appeal of the tree-studded savannah plains, the moderate climate, and the diversity of wild game species make it a one-stop shop for game-viewing activities. We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara River as we watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October).
Overnight at Loyk Mara Camp.
