Once you’ve been to the Mara, you can say you have seen Africa. African Sunset Safaris has created this total safari experience so you can discover this amazing park at a relaxed pace. You’ll enjoy plenty of game drives over these exciting 4 days to experience the diversity the Mara has to offer. The park is well-known for Africa’s famous Big Five along with hundreds of other species, including giraffe, cheetah, hyena, gazelle, and much more. The Masai Mara is also home to the Great Migration where countless herds of wildebeest and zebra sweep over the savannah in an unforgettable display of wildlife unique to the planet. Sound exciting? Here’s how your safari adventure begins: We’ll pick you up from the airport, your residence, or Nairobi hotel at 7:30 am and head over the Masai plains, stopping for a scenic break to view the Great Rift Valley escarpment. After arriving at the reserve, you will have time for an afternoon game drive. Then, for the next two days, get ready to explore the rich terrain and animal life of the Mara. You’ll enjoy unlimited game drives through rolling grassland and signature flat-topped acacia trees. Along with the vast herds roaming the savannah, you’ll visit the Mara River to view hippos and crocodiles. During the season (July through October) expect to witness the wildebeests and zebras of the Great Migration streaming over the river in great numbers. But your days spent at the Mara are also shaped by your wishes. You can take breaks, spending time as you please, relaxing at your lodge or camp. Your driver/guide is only too happy to help plan the details of your stay. As a bonus, you can join several optional activities that we offer: We can arrange a visit to a Maasai village to meet the local villagers, see their lifestyle, and learn about their culture. This is an exciting way to meet and experience the indigenous people of the area. And, if you desire, Natural World Kenya Safaris will also arrange a spectacular hot air balloon ride over the Masai Mara to view the scenery, the animals, and the whole experience of this timeless land from above. On day 4, the final day of your safari adventure, there will be one more game drive in the early morning, before heading back to Nairobi with a lunch stop along the way. All-Inclusive. Commence the safari journey to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya’s finest wildlife haven. The Nairobi -Masai mara drive is via the central highlands of Kenya with views of subsistence farmlands and local community settlements Along the safari route – there shall be stops to view interesting attractions including the Great Rift Valley escarpment. At the Rift Valley escarpment – you shall descend to the floors of the Rift Valley for a further drive through Masai country as we progress to the Mara Arrival at the Masai Mara shall be in time for lunch. Day 2: FULL DAY – MASAI MARA

Today shall be a game-viewing extravaganza! The Mara as is popularly known remains the most exciting wildlife ecosystem in the Natural world. Masai Mara Reserve hosts the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other park in the region. The scenic appeal of this tree studded savannah plains, its moderate climate and its diversity of wild game species make it a one-stop shop for game viewing activities. We shall traverse the reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. You shall visit the Mara river where you may watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (During July –October months )

Another day full of wildlife viewing drives You may choose to have the full-day game drives or game drives in separate sessions so that you may also have a chance to enjoy lodge/camp facilities. The driver guide shall be readily available to discuss your daily activities depending on your preferences It is also an opportunity to experience a hot air balloon ride and float over the Masai Mara plains as you watch the game (extra cost)
