3 Days best of Masai Mara
Travel to interact with the big five at the Masai Mara national reserve, camp in the wild and have meals in the wild. Masai Mara national park is the home of large mammals such as the elephants, hippos among others. It provides a wide variety of forms of tourism including cultural tourism exhibited by the immediate community. The park is diverse with a lot of animal and plant species. DAY 1: NAIROBI-MAASAI MARA.
Depart from Nairobi to Masai Mara via Mai Mahiu and note the magnificent landscape of the Great Rift Valley and have a stopover at the view point to give you a chance to appreciate the beautiful scenic view of the landscape and formation of the same then proceed to Narok town to freshen up then to Masai Mara reserve. Check in at the camp for hot lunch and after lunch have the evening Game Drive. Dinner and overnight to be served at the camp.
DAY 2: MAASAI MARA FULL DAY.
Have breakfast and set off for a full day Game Drive and enjoy the beautiful Mara savannah grassland landscape on rolling hills and its ‘residents’. It is best known for wildebeest migration which is seasonal between the months of July, August and September. If lucky enough you will view the Big 5 (GRAND CINQ) in complete but you won’t miss one or two of the big five if not all. It is home to a variety of birds species which is a magnificent site. Have a picnic lunch at the hippo’s pool then proceed with the game drive till sunset. Later drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: MAASAI MARA-NAIROBI.
Have breakfast and proceed for an optional activity of visit to Masai village. At the Masai village you will have an opportunity to learn the the culture o the Masai people that has been preserved for yeas. At the village you will only pay $10 per person paid directly at the village. Later depart from Maasai Mara to Nairobi with Lunch en route. Arrive in Nairobi late afternoon where you will be dropped at your hotel.
