2 DAYS OLPEJETEA SAFARI
2 Days Olpejeta Safari – Meet Chimpanzees, Interact with Rhinos, and go for Lion Tracking
Your driver/guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or Nairobi airport.
We’ll head out in our 4 x 4 Jeep for the Ol Pejeta Sanctuary. We’ll be traveling through Laikipia County toward the Aberdare/Mt. Kenya area, passing numerous farms along the way.
At Ol Pejeta you’ll be amazed by the diversity of wildlife. Endangered rhinos plus the Big Five are all here as well as giraffe, hippo, impala, gazelle, zebra, jackal, hyena… even monkey and baboon.
This is also home to the Sweet Waters Chimpanzee Sanctuary within the reserve. It’s a place where rescued chimps are cared for and given free rein within their natural habitat. It’s the only place in Kenya where you can observe these playful and intelligent primates.
Our game drive will be in search of the Big Five and early Grazers .

2 Days Olpejeta Safari – Meet Chimpanzees, Interact with Rhinos, and go for Lion Tracking
Day 1: Nairobi - Ol Pejeta
07:30 hrs. – Your driver/guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or Nairobi airport.
We’ll head out in our 4 x 4 Jeep for the Ol Pejeta Sanctuary. We’ll be traveling through Laikipia County toward the Aberdare/Mt. Kenya area, passing numerous farms along the way.
We’ll stop at coffee and tea plantations for a closer look and time permitting a local market.
Our route takes us directly across the equator and we’ll take a moment to stop and enjoy this unique spot, straddling the hemispheres.
At Ol Pejeta you’ll be amazed by the diversity of wildlife. Endangered rhinos plus the Big Five are all here as well as giraffe, hippo, impala, gazelle, zebra, jackal, hyena… even monkey and baboon.

The sanctuary also features an endangered species enclosure. It’s big enough to go on a game drive and within its boundaries, you’ll spot rhinos and other rare animals like Grevy’s zebra and Jackson’s hartebeest.
You’ll spend the night at Serena Sweet Waters Camp or similar(FB)

Day 2: Ol Pejeta - Nairobi
Our game drive shall start at sunrise. Our game drive will be in search of the Big Five and early Grazers. During this time there are possible chances of finding rare animal species including Reticulated Giraffe, Grevys Zebra, Elephants, Tree hyrax, White-tailed mongoose, Black Fronted Dicker, Mole Rat, Bushbuck, Waterbuck, Elands, and many more. Return to our lodge /Camp for breakfast. Depart from our lodge /Tented camp thereafter and proceed for our last game-viewing exercise. Proceed to exit and drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.
