14 DAYS OF KENYAN SAFARI AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT PROGRAMS

TOUR OVERVIEW...

DAY 1: AIRPORT PICKUP FOR NEW ARRIVALS,

For new arrivals, you will be picked from the Airport by our able and friendly staff who will be waiting for you at the airport and check you in an already booked hotel within the city.

DAY 2: A DAY TOUR OF NAIROBI

You will be picked from your hotel at around 8:00am and visit the David Shedrick elephant sanctuary, giraffe centre, lunch break later visit bomas of Kenya. In the evening you will drive back to your hotel for overnight stay, getting ready for an early morning SGR to the Kenyan Coast.

DAY 3: TRAVEL FROM NAIROBI TO KALOLENI

Early morning pickup from your hotel at 6:30am and drive straight to the Nairobi SGR terminal. On your way to the Kenyan Coast you will transverse the Tsavo national park.

You will alight at the Mariakani terminus where our driver will pick you and drive you to Kaloleni where you will spending the 3 days of community support programs.

In Kaloleni you will be staying with a Kenyan host family or at an ultra modern and luxurious budget friendly guest house well know as Tulivu Inn, this facility is located in the heart of Kaloleni.

DAY 4, DAY 5 & DAY 6: COMMUNITY SUPPORT PROGRAMS

Early breakfast and start the day at around 8am.

Activities of the 3 days

- Participate in tree planting activities in some of the schools around

- Tree planting exercise for forest cover and fencing of water pan

- Participate in sanitary pads distribution in the needy schools around

- Visiting a children's home to offer some gifts and spend time with the kids

- Participate in construction of Kitchen sheds for lunch feeding programs in the schools

- Training groups of young and single mothers on how to make soaps and other items, that will bring an income

- Home visits to meet windows for sustainability awareness if any skill advise

- Participate in a girl child mentorship program and awareness campaign on right to education

- A visit to Kaya rabai and the rabai cultural village

- Participate in an organized free medical camp, in the event of jiggers and other similar calamities

DAY 7: MOMBASA CITY DAY TOUR

Breakfast and say byebye to Kaloleni as you drive to Mombasa to start the Mombasa City tour at 9am. The city tour will end at around 5pm where you will now drive to the south coast where you will spend 2 nights at a very luxurious hotel/camp.

South coast (Diani) is a tourist town with the best sand beaches.

DAY 8: FULL DAY AT THE HOTEL AND THE BEACH

No specific activities for this day it's totally free day to relax and enjoy the white sand beaches and sea foods. Relaxing as you get prepared for a 6 days safari which will commence the following day.

DAY 9: MOMBASA TO AMBOSELLI NATIONAL PARK

Pick up at your hotel at 6am in the morning drive to the Mombasa SGR terminal to catch the SGR. The SGR will drop you at the Emali terminus where you will picked by your Safari driver guide. A tour van / safari land cruiser will be there standby waiting to pick you up ready for Amboseli.

You will stop at Emali town for a quick lunch later start your journey to Amboseli National park. You will arrive early enough to enjoy the evening game drive and later check in to your booked hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 10: AMBOSELI GAME DRIVE AND DRIVE TO NAIROBI

Very early morning game drive, this gives you a chance to see the predators.

Later drive back to the hotel for breakfast, have a packed lunch and check out. Continue with the game drive as you depart heading to Nairobi City where you will be dropped at an already booked hotel within the city.

DAY 11: NAIROBI TO MAASAI MARA

Early morning around 8am you will be picked from your hotel and commence the drive to Maasai Mara. Lunch will be picnic on the way.

You will arrive in Mara in the late afternoon, check in and immediately depart for game viewing drive in the Mara reserve.

DAY 12: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN MAASAI MARA

Here you will spend the whole day exploring Maasai Mara game reserve, you will get a chance to see all the big five animals. Later go back to your hotel/camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 13: DEPART MAASAI MARA TO LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK.

You will enjoy the last early morning game drive in Mara reserve followed by breakfast.

There after commence drive to Nakuru, upon arrival at around 5pm you will go straight to your hotel have dinner and overnight.

DAY 14: NAKURU NATIONAL PARK & DRIVE BACK TO NAIROBI TO MARK THE END OF THE TOUR.

You will have and early breakfast and depart for the game drive. It's a small park with magnificent rare white rhinos, which form the Big five animals. Possibilities of seeing the pink flamingos are also very high.

Later depart Nakuru for Nairobi where you will be dropped at a hotel or direct to the airport. End of the safari.
