Taboche
Taboche also called Tawoche is a beautiful mountain peak in Nepalese Himalaya. A long ridge has connected it with Cholatse. It actually lies across the Imja River and above the villages of Dingboche and Pheriche. First successful summit of this peak was made in 1974 by a famous French mountaineer Yannick. Other members of her team were Paul Gendre, Louis Dubost and Jacques Brugirard.
It is often said by the local tour guides that hiking of Taboche peak is not as much easy as it seems because steep falls and ridges make the trekking a bit challenging. But still many local and foreign tourists came to summit this peak annually and add another peak in their personal achievement list.
