1. Gur-Emir Mausoleum
The tomb of Tamerlane is the eternal resting place of one of the greatest conquerors of the Middle Ages. You will also learn about the fates of his sons Miranshah and Shahrukh and the legendary grandson Ulugbek.
2. Registan Square
The heart of Samarkand, surrounded by magnificent madrassas. We will tell you why the square is called "sandy", despite the lack of sand.
3. Bibi-Khanym Mosque
The cathedral mosque of the 15th century is a monument to the grandiose plan of Tamerlane. You will hear a romantic legend about the architect's love for the wife of the great conqueror, who played an important role in the construction of the mosque.
