• The Tomb of Tamerlane. In the underground crypt, three more rulers were buried: Timur’s sons Miranshah and Shah Rukh, and his grandson Ulugh Beg (14th–15th centuries).
• The Rukhabad Mausoleum (The Abode of the Spirit). According to legend, a casket containing seven hairs of the Prophet Muhammad is kept beneath the dome (14th century).
• Registan Square, the central square of Samarkand and one of the most famous architectural ensembles in the world.
• The Meros Paper Factory, founded by the well-known Mukhtarov brothers. Thanks to their efforts, the ancient Samarkand paper-making tradition has been revived using historical techniques.
• The Mausoleum of Saint Daniel (Daniyar), a prophet revered in three religions. Located on the outskirts of ancient Afrasiab in northeastern Samarkand, this long five-domed structure stretches along a high hillside, with the Siab River flowing at its base.

You will visit the resting place of Tamerlane, one of the most powerful rulers of the Middle Ages. In the underground crypt, you will also learn about the graves of his sons — Miranshah and Shahrukh — and his famous grandson Ulugbek.
• Rukhabad Mausoleum
Known as “The Abode of the Spirit”, this 14th-century mausoleum is an important spiritual site. According to legend, it holds a casket with seven hairs of the Prophet Muhammad, making it a place of deep respect.
