Discover the natural beauty and wildlife of Zanzibar on a full-day adventure combining dolphin watching in Kizimkazi, Salaam Cave, and Jozani Forest.
Your day begins with a convenient hotel pickup. Your driver will meet you at the hotel reception and take you to Kizimkazi on the southern coast of Zanzibar.
At Kizimkazi, board a local boat and head out onto the Indian Ocean for a chance to see wild dolphins in their natural environment. Depending on sea conditions and dolphin activity, you may have the opportunity to observe them from the boat and, where appropriate and safe, enter the water. Dolphin sightings are not guaranteed because they are wild animals.
Continue to Salaam Cave, a beautiful natural cave known for its clear turquoise water and resident sea turtles. Learn about the turtles and have the opportunity to see them in the protected cave environment.
After the cave experience, proceed to Jozani Forest, Zanzibar’s famous natural forest reserve. Enjoy a guided walk through the forest and look for the endemic Zanzibar Red Colobus monkeys, as well as other wildlife and tropical plants. Your guide will explain the forest ecosystem and the importance of conservation.
At the end of the tour, relax during your transfer back to your hotel after a memorable day exploring Zanzibar’s marine and forest environments.

07:30 AM – Dolphin Watching & Swimming – Kizimkazi 🐬
Arrive at Kizimkazi Beach and board the boat for a dolphin-watching experience. If conditions are suitable, you may have the opportunity to swim and snorkel in the ocean near the dolphins while enjoying the beautiful Zanzibar coastline.
10:00 AM – Salaam Cave – Sea Turtles 🐢
After the dolphin experience, continue to Salaam Cave. Explore the natural cave, see the resident sea turtles, and enjoy time in the clear turquoise water.
12:00 PM – Transfer to Jozani Forest
Leave Salaam Cave and continue by road toward Jozani Forest. You may have a short break along the way if needed.
01:00 PM – Jozani Forest Tour 🌴🐒
Enjoy a guided nature walk through Jozani Forest and discover Zanzibar’s unique ecosystem. Look out for the famous Zanzibar Red Colobus monkeys, tropical plants, and other wildlife.
02:30–03:00 PM – Return to Hotel
After completing the forest tour, begin the drive back to your hotel. Estimated arrival is around 03:30–04:30 PM, depending on your hotel location and traffic.
