This is short safari from Dar es Salaam with electric train and safari vehicle.
Mikumi National Park was established in 1964 and originally covered an area of 1,070km² (413mi²). In 1975, the park was expanded to its current size of 3,230km² (1,247mi²). Located just north of the well-known Nyerere National Park, Mikumi is the seventh largest national park in Tanzania and is the most accessible park from Dar es Salaam throughout the year.
In this tour you will use electric train and safari vehicle as mode of transport.

Our driver will pick you up from your location at 4:30am and take you to the Dar es Salaam SGR Station for an electric train to Morogoro Town, which departs at 6:00am and arrives at 7:50am. On arrival at the Morogoro train station, you will meet our driver and begin the journey to Mikumi National Park, approximately a one-and-a-half-hour drive away. You will have breakfast in Morogoro Town before continuing the trip.
Once you arrive at Mikumi National Park, you will embark on a game drive until lunchtime. After lunch, the game drive will resume and continue until 4:00 pm.
At 4:00 pm, you will head back to Morogoro to catch your train back to Dar es Salaam, which departs at 7:20 pm and arrives in Dar es Salaam at 9:10 pm.
