Itinerary of the Luxury Safari Tanzania - 7 Days Private Tour: DAY 1 of the Luxury Safari Tanzania - Arrival in Arusha City - Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro National Airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to the African Tulip Hotel in Arusha for dinner and your overnight stay. Settle into your accommodations and prepare to start your safari in the morning. DAY 2 - Arusha - Tarangire National Park - At 8:30 AM you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and drive on tarmac road 120km to Tarangire National Park. After lunch, you will go on an afternoon game drive in search of lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, python, zebra, oryx, impala and more. Over 450 species of birds have also been observed here. DAY 3 - Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, on this day of the Luxury Safari Tanzania, you will drive to the famous Serengeti National Park. DAY 4 - Serengeti National Park - You will spend another day of the Luxury Safari Tanzania on game drives in the Serengeti. With so many wildebeest, gazelles and zebras present it is no wonder the Serengeti is also home to 4,000 lions and 1,000 leopards. Apart from the Big Five, the Serengeti also boasts cheetah, jackal, hyena, serval, aardvark, pangolin, porcupine, crocodiles, giraffe, python, black mamba, spitting cobra, ostrich, martial eagle, lovebirds and vultures - just to name a few! DAY 6 - Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater - Set off towards the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive with a picnic lunch in hand. The crater shelters close to 30.000 animals, including the Big Five. It is teeming with zebras, buffaloes, lions, wildebeest, warthogs, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, cheetahs and a small population of the rare black rhino. The beautiful colors and dancing clouds here make the crater almost surreal. DAY 7 – Lake Manyara – Arusha - After breakfast, take a picnic lunch with you drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive. Although small in dimension (205 sq. miles), the park has breathtaking scenery and well famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs, and mahogany trees, as well as to a growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. Permanent residents of this park also include giraffes, elephants, impalas and a huge amount of buffaloes. The lake is also home to a large number of hippos. - Late in evening drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight at African Tulip Hotel.
