Day 1: Colombo – Negombo

Drive: Approx. 15 km | 30 mins

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, meet your guide and transfer to the coastal town of Negombo. After checking in, relax before exploring the lively fish market, beautiful lagoon, and golden beach. Enjoy a peaceful sunset stroll along the coast while experiencing the laid-back atmosphere of this charming seaside town. Overnight stay in Negombo.

Day 2: Negombo – Anuradhapura – Mihintale

Drive: Approx. 170 km | 4–5 hrs

After breakfast, drive to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Anuradhapura. Visit the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi Tree, Ruwanwelisaya Stupa, Jetavanaramaya, and Abhayagiri Monastery before continuing to Mihintale, regarded as the birthplace of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. Climb the ancient stone stairways to enjoy panoramic views and a peaceful spiritual atmosphere. Overnight stay in the Anuradhapura/Sigiriya region.

Day 3: Polonnaruwa – Minneriya National Park

Drive: Approx. 100 km | 2–3 hrs

After breakfast, explore the UNESCO World Heritage city of Polonnaruwa, visiting the Royal Palace, Sacred Quadrangle, and the magnificent Gal Vihara rock-cut Buddha statues. Later, enjoy an exciting jeep safari in Minneriya National Park, famous for its spectacular elephant gatherings as well as deer, peacocks, and numerous bird species. Overnight stay in the Sigiriya region.

Day 4: Sigiriya – Dambulla – Kandy

Drive: Approx. 90 km | 3 hrs

After breakfast, you may choose to climb the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress before continuing to the UNESCO-listed Dambulla Cave Temple, renowned for its ancient Buddhist murals and statues. En route to Kandy, stop at a spice garden in Matale before visiting the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic and enjoying an entertaining Kandyan cultural dance performance. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 5: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

Drive: Approx. 80 km | 3–4 hrs

After breakfast, travel through Sri Lanka's scenic hill country to Nuwara Eliya. Visit a tea plantation and factory to learn about Ceylon tea production and enjoy a tasting session. Continue past Devon Falls and St. Clair's Falls before exploring Gregory Lake and the colonial charm of Nuwara Eliya, often called "Little England." Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 6: Horton Plains – Ella

Drive: Approx. 90 km | 3–4 hrs

Begin the day with an early morning excursion to Horton Plains National Park and hike to the spectacular World's End viewpoint and Baker's Falls. Later, continue to Ella by road or enjoy the famous optional scenic train journey. Visit the iconic Nine Arch Bridge and Little Adam's Peak while taking in breathtaking views of Sri Lanka's tea-covered hills. Overnight stay in Ella.

Day 7: Ella – Bentota / Mirissa

Drive: Approx. 200 km | 5–6 hrs

After breakfast, descend from the hill country to Sri Lanka's southern coastline. Check in at your beach resort in Bentota or Mirissa and spend the remainder of the day relaxing on the golden sandy beaches, swimming in the warm Indian Ocean, or simply enjoying the tropical surroundings. Overnight stay at your beach resort.

Day 8: Beach Leisure

After breakfast, enjoy a full day at leisure on the beach. Choose from optional activities such as water sports, a Madu River boat safari, turtle hatchery visits, or an excursion to the historic Galle Fort. End the day watching a spectacular sunset over the Indian Ocean. Overnight stay at your beach resort.

Day 9: Beach Relaxation

After breakfast, continue enjoying your beach holiday at your own pace. Relax by the pool, indulge in spa treatments, explore nearby fishing villages, or join a seasonal whale-watching excursion from Mirissa. Day 10: Bentota / Mirissa – Colombo – Departure
