Sigiriya was one of the loveliest royal cities that ever graced the earth. One of the most striking features of Sigiriya is its Mirror Wall. In the old days, it was polished so thoroughly that the Kind could see his reflection. It perhaps is the single most remarkable memory for visitors to Sri Lanka. At the midway, you could see beautiful Sigiriya maidens painted in tempera in brilliant natural colors on the rock wall cave.

Thereafter, proceed to Polonnaruwa.

Polonnaruwa was the glorious medieval capital (11th to 13th century). It is known as one of the cleanest cities in the country. Some of the attractions of the city such as Parakrama Samudra (the largest irrigation tank of King Parakramabahu 1), which is a huge lake built in the year 1200 (it was the life-blood of the ancient city in the same way that is the blood life of the religion today, providing water for the growth of thirsty rice crops and other food stuffs), ancient constructions, luxury hotels to stay, have made it popular among tourists.

Elephants gathered at this Park is numbering around 150 – 350.

Kaudulla National Park is one of the most eminent parks, spread over a massive 6656 hectares and is home to a countless number of wild animals, aquatic animals and exotic birds. In addition to the elephants, Sri Lankan axis deer, chevrotain, wild boar, Asian spoonbill, grey-headed fish eagle, painted stork and openbill stork are common visuals at the Park. Aside from these, one could rarely capture the glimpse of leopard and sloth bear in thee forest.
