The main hub of the area is the vibrant port of Setúbal, a great place to munch choco frito (fried cuttlefish) and area bottlenose dolphins on a breezy cruise of the marshy Sado estuary. To the west lies Parque Natural da Arrábida, lined with scalloped bays flanked by sheer cliffs that are house to birds of victim. A plus size formation that consists of a section of river, marshlands, low tide and sand banks, salinas - the bulk of which deactivated, beaches and coastal dunes as well as plantations, pine woods and farming locations. In the Dunas de Troia Botanical Reserve, natural dune community, there are endemic types with concern character.

In spite of scarce population in a substantial part of its rim the Sado Estuary Natural Reserve (23.160 ha) holds many statements of past human existence - Roman ovens in Herdade do Pinheiro and the Phoenician Abul factory to which we can include the Roman salt complex positioned in the area of Tróia.
The most friendly local occupants and sign of the Nature Reserve are the dolphins. It's rare to find them in Europe, freely swimming in their natural environment, however there is a crucial colony of dolphins in the River Sado, who are understood locally as "roazes-corvineiros" (gnawers of corvine fishing internet), due to the fact that they munch at fishing webs and mainly eat corvina sea fish.
