During your hiking, you will find nature in a wild state, walk over volcanic rock, see endemic vegetation. Pick up at 9h00-9h15 at your accommodation to explore the interior of Terceira, hiking in one of the most beautiful trails of the island. The trail is moderate (level 4) level, the duration is 3h00-3h30, is circular, and 5 km length, 100m elevation.
During your hiking, you will find nature in a wild state, walk over volcanic rock, know more about endemic and invasive vegetation, discover beautiful lakes, admire fields surrounded by stone walls, and climb to the top of a volcano and explore its crater.

Pickup at the hotel at 9h00-9h15. Heading to the interior of the island, we will pass in a natural park, the largest natural park of the Azores, where you can see volcanic landscape, native vegetation and wild bulls habitats. When arrived at the beggining of the hiking trail, the guide will inform you about the details of the hiking trail (lenght, difficulty level, duration). The hiking mistérios negros, is a circular trail, it's aprox. 5 km lenght (3,1 milles), it's a moderate difficulty level, it will take aprox 2h30. This hike is unique due to its volcanic dommes and landscape, native vegetation and lake (lagoa do negro).
