Private Day Tour to Pastoruri Glacier in Huascaran National Park

Itinerary of the Private Day Tour to Pastoruri Glacier in Huascaran National Park:

- Our guide picks you up after breakfast in the morning at your hotel in Huaraz.

- Depart at 8:00 AM, driving to the south from Huaraz.

- After 25km driving, we will visit Recuay province at 3300m above the sea level, and continue to Ticampampa, and Catac.

- We continue to Pachacoto - from here we will turn east side by unpaved road wonderful landscape of highlands full of straw and cold wind, traditional with sheepherders.

- After 15km from the highway, we will stop next to a small lake called Patococha for birdwatching of wild ducks, Andean goose, caracara birds, and others.

- Our next stop will be at Gasified water stream - drinkable gasified water flowing underground, then continue to next stop at enormous flowers of PuyaRaymondi, and changing color small lake at Pumapampa - changing color is an effect of radiation of the sun and mineral containing rocky inside the water.

- Later on, we continue to Petroglyph paints, then after a few kilometers, we will arrive at Pastoruri.

- From here to get the Ice Mountain is about 1 km away. You can make easy hiking or horseback ride to get the snow mountain of Pastoruri.

- Once there you will enjoy walking around and visit the Iced Lake and Ice Cave.

- After a few hours of staying in Pastoruri, we go back the same way directly to Huaraz, arriving around 6:00 PM.
