Chavin PreInca ruins full day tours in private

Itinerary

Breakfast at Hotel depart at 8am from our private bus station for tours First Class Huaraz, leaded to the millenarian capital of archaeology of Chavin de Huantar, for this we will start driving south side of Huaraz passing by typical viallages of Recuay 3300masl, cross the Santa river to left side a typical villages of Huacapampa, continue by eucalyptus trees passing the sheep herders villages, join the paved highway, drive along the highlands full of pastures and straws, by small valley visiting the Querococha lake at 3980masl, stop for photo of the beautiful landscape, continue up to highest pass of Tunel de Cahuish at 4500masl, important point for hydrographical division where the west side water flows to Pacific ocean and east side water flows to Atlantic Ocean, continue by the narrow valley in zig-zag way getting the Rio Mosna by the flanks of the river arriving to the Archaeological site of Chavin, the ruins are located next to the modern district of Chavin arrive at 1pm and immediately place to a restaurant for Lunch until 2pm then enter to the castle of Chavin on a guided tour which take place for about two hours, inside the ruins you will visit many labyrinth rooms and in one of the main buildings are the Lanzon the Chavin a big stone carved remain of the Pre-Inkas, many places and things to visit and observe, such as Plazas, cavezas clavas main porch and among others, finalizing in the modern museum where is storage the rest of the Chavin Culture, after to finish with guided tour around 4pm depart for a non-stop drive back to Huaraz for about 3 hours by the same way arriving around 7pm direct to our Bus Station in Huaraz
