Description
From Pokhara: 4-Day Poon Hill Ghandruk Trek
Begin your adventure with a drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. Start your trek through lush terraced fields and warm Gurung villages. Cross suspension bridges and ascend to Ulleri, a charming hillside village surrounded by stone houses and farming terraces.
On day two, hike through blooming rhododendron forests and oak-covered trails. Your guide will share stories about the region’s flora and local folklore. Arrive in Ghorepani, a colorful mountain village nestled beneath snow-capped peaks.
Rise early on day three for the legendary sunrise view from Poon Hill (3,210 m). Watch the Himalayas glow gold and crimson in the morning light. Descend to Ghorepani for breakfast, then continue toward Tadapani through misty pine woods and birdsong.
On the final day, descend through dense forests to the picturesque village of Ghandruk, known for its Gurung heritage museum and traditional stone houses. Enjoy a local lunch before driving back to Pokhara.

Day 1: You will be picked up from your hotel in Lakeside, Pokhara and driven to Birethati. Then you will be hiking to Ulleri. Stay at a cozy local-run teahouse/homestay at Ulleri for the night.
Day 2: After breakfast, you will be hiking to Ghorepani, a picturesque Gurung Village. It will be be about 4-5 hours of hike. You will settle down in a local-run teahouse/homestay for the night at Ghorepani.
Day 3: Rise early in the morning before the dawn breaks and hike to Poon Hill view point for sunrise viewing. After soaking in the sunrise, you will descend back to Ghorepani for breakfast and then hike to Tadapani after breakfast.
Day 4: After breakfast at Tadapani, you will hike to Ghandruk, an exceptionally beautiful cultural village. After exploration of the village, you will hike back down to Nayapul, from where you will be driven back to Pokhara.
