Nepal 9-Day Tour – Fixed Saturday Departure

Day 1 – Saturday: Arrival in Kathmandu & Welcome Dinner

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, where you will be met by the tour representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, take some time to rest and settle in after your journey. Later, attend a tour orientation where the tour manager will provide important information about the itinerary, transportation, sightseeing schedule and upcoming activities. Meet your guide and fellow travelers before enjoying a welcome dinner featuring traditional Nepali cuisine and a cultural performance. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 2 – Sunday: Kathmandu Heritage Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley’s important cultural and religious landmarks. Visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, one of Nepal’s most significant Hindu pilgrimage sites, followed by Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in Nepal. Continue to Swayambhunath Stupa, popularly known as the Monkey Temple, located on a hill overlooking Kathmandu Valley. The final major stop is Patan Durbar Square, known for its historic palace courtyards, temples and traditional Newari architecture. Return to your Kathmandu hotel after sightseeing and enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 3 – Monday: Kathmandu to Pokhara

After breakfast, depart Kathmandu and travel by road toward Pokhara, approximately 200 km away. The journey takes around 7–8 hours depending on traffic, road conditions and stops along the way. Travel through Nepal’s scenic countryside, following the Trishuli River and passing through green hills, villages and river valleys. Lunch during the journey is at your own expense. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, enjoy free time to explore the popular Lakeside area, browse local shops, visit cafés or take a peaceful walk along the lake. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 4 – Tuesday: Sarangkot Sunrise & Pokhara Sightseeing

Begin the day early with a drive to Sarangkot, one of the most popular viewpoints near Pokhara. Weather permitting, watch the sunrise illuminate the surrounding Himalayan peaks and enjoy panoramic views of the Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). Return to Pokhara for breakfast before continuing the sightseeing tour. Visit Davis Falls, a distinctive waterfall located within the city, and explore the nearby Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, an important religious and natural attraction. Later, enjoy a boat ride on Phewa Lake and visit Tal Barahi Temple, situated on an island in the lake. Return to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 5 – Wednesday: Pokhara to Lumbini

After breakfast, check out and depart Pokhara for Lumbini by road. The journey is approximately 180 km and generally takes around 6–7 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Travel through the hills and countryside of western Nepal, including the Palpa region, before reaching the plains of Lumbini. After hotel check-in, begin exploring the peaceful Lumbini area, with visits to attractions such as the World Peace Pagoda and the Central Canal area, depending on the sightseeing schedule and local conditions. Enjoy the calm atmosphere of this important Buddhist pilgrimage destination. Overnight stay in Lumbini.

Day 6 – Thursday: Lumbini Sightseeing & Transfer to Chitwan

After breakfast, continue exploring Lumbini with visits to the Maya Devi Temple, the principal sacred site marking the birthplace of Lord Buddha, and the historic Ashoka Pillar. Explore the International Monastic Zone, where monasteries representing different Buddhist traditions and countries can be found. After sightseeing, depart Lumbini for Chitwan, a journey of approximately 140 km that usually takes around 4–5 hours depending on road conditions. Upon arrival, check into your jungle resort and relax. Later, experience the local Tharu culture through a village walk and traditional cultural activities, followed by a Tharu cultural dance performance. Overnight stay in Chitwan.

Day 7 – Friday: Full-Day Chitwan Wildlife Experience

Enjoy a full day of nature and wildlife activities in the Chitwan area. Begin with birdwatching, providing an opportunity to observe some of the region’s diverse birdlife. Continue with a canoe ride along the river, offering a peaceful way to experience the surrounding natural environment and potentially spot crocodiles and other wildlife. Later, embark on a jeep safari in Chitwan National Park. Keep an eye out for wildlife including the greater one-horned rhinoceros, deer, crocodiles and numerous bird species. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed because animals move freely within their natural habitat. Continue with additional nature or cultural activities according to the local schedule before returning to the resort. Overnight stay in Chitwan.

Day 8 – Saturday: Chitwan to Kathmandu & Farewell Dinner

After breakfast, check out from the resort and begin the return journey to Kathmandu by road. Enjoy views of Nepal’s countryside, hills and river valleys along the way. Travel time can vary depending on traffic and road conditions. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check into your hotel and enjoy some free time for shopping, relaxation or personal exploration. In the evening, gather with the tour group for a farewell dinner and traditional cultural performance. This provides an opportunity to celebrate the completion of the journey and share experiences with fellow travelers. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 9 – Sunday: Departure from Kathmandu

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and complete your checkout according to your flight schedule. At the appropriate time, your representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight. Your Nepal tour concludes with the airport drop-off.
