Further more, the highest point of this trek is the ‘Larkya La Pass which is believed to be one of the most marvelous passes crossing the Himalayas. Most of the trek in Manaslu involves walking on high mountain trails at altitudes above 3000 m thus it is within the capabilities of people with good cardiovascular fitness.
The trek begins from Arughat Bazar or Gorkha Bazaar, a huge precipitous valley; you can jeep to make a trek smoother; then it is followed by Budi Gandaki River, crossing snow-covered Larkya La Pass (5160 m) and ends at Bhulbhule close to the Besisahar the starting point of famous Annapurna Circuit Trek. While around Manaslu one can see attractive views of Manaslu (8163 m), Himalchuli (7,893 m); Annapurna range, Shringi Himal (7,187 m), Ganesh Himal, NgadiChuli (7,879 m) and other mountains.
