Gosaikunda Lake Trek
Gosaikunda Lake Trek is a great combination of adventure and pilgrimage, on the classic trail of the famous Langtang region. The 9 days trek passes through scenic routes to the pristine and holy Gosaikunda Lake at an altitude of 5000 meters. Gosaikunda is a holy site for Hindus, Buddhists, and Bon devotees, who believe that the lake has healing powers, and taking a dip in this pristine water, washes their sins and helps them on the path to nirvana.
The Gosaikunda lake Trek passes through beautiful traditional villages, yak pastures, dense forests, waterfalls, and a number of freshwater lakes, with views of snowcapped ranges from Annapurna, Manaslu, and the Langtang region.
The lakes around the Gosaikunda site are in the laps of the formidable wall formed by the Rocky Mountains all around, high sheer cliffs surround the lake with views over the horizon. The Gosaikunda Lake trek to the beautiful destination is possible throughout the year but trekkers usually avoid the monsoon seasons, but in the month of August thousands of devotees and pilgrims flock to the area to attain the Janai Purnima festival.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu transfer to hotel preparation for trek
The flight into Kathmandu is amazing, with views of towering mountains and lush green hills. Once you arrive, you'll be great by one of our team members and then driven to your accommodation. In the afternoon you'll have a brief orientation regarding the trip by your guide then in the evening you will be taken to a Nepali restaurant to have a welcome dinner which could be a very different test then back to the hotel and sleep.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Dhunche (1750)
Wake up early morning then have your breakfast then move out with your guide to the bus station then you'll travel to the northern part of the country, through various settlements and rolling hills, the drive takes around 6-7 hours. Once you reach Dhunche head towards your accommodation and later on take a stroll around the city.

Day 03: Trek Dhunche to Shin Gompa (2260m)
After an early breakfast, head towards the trail, you'll be passing through dense forest filled with miles of undergrowth, as it's an uphill take it slow and has frequent rest, you'll be passing through settlements of Deurali, Dhimsa Shin Gompa. Shin Gompa also known as Chandanbari and has much to offer. Once you reach Chandanbari rest for a while later on head out to explore the ancient Shin Gompa a monetary of the region or towards the cheese factory.

Day 04: Trek Sing Gompa to Lauribina(3550m)
Today's trek is short but rather difficult, as you'll have to trek on an uphill trail from the start, through dense forest, and above the treelined, as the altitude increase you may feel difficulty in walking so take frequent rest. Once you reach Lauribina head towards your tea house and rest for a while, and in the afternoon enjoy the sunset over the horizon.

Day 05: Trek Lauribina to Gosainkunda (4360m)
Starting early in the morning after breakfast, the trail consists of an uphill hike from Lauribina to a vantage point called Buddha Mandir, from here the trail continues on an inclined slope till Gosainkunda. On the route, you'll witness two lakes until you reach the Gosainkunda. Once you reach Gosainkunda explore the lakes nearby and bask in the views of the sunset. And chill your day.

Day 06: Trek Gosainkunda to Shin Gompa (3250m)Today wake up early and witness the sunrise, sitting beside the calm lake later explore the area and have your breakfast, after breakfast retrace your steps back to Shin Gompa, as the trail consist of a steep down hike take it slow.

Day 07: Trek Shin Gompa to Dhunche (2090m)
After an early breakfast head towards Dhunche following the trail through dense forest filled with vibrant colors of ferns and orchids, once you reach Dhunche rest and celebrate the end on your trekking.

Day 08: Dhunche to Kathmandu (1336m)
Get up early morning and have your breakfast then Catch an early morning ride to Kathmandu, passing by bustling settlements and rusty-colored villages. Once you reach Kathmandu head towards your accommodation
Later in the evening attend a special farewell dinner to acknowledge the end of your Langtang adventure with our staff.
