Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Aitbenhaddou - Ouarzazate - Valley of Roses - Dades Gorges:
  • We will pick you up from your Riad/Hotel in Marrakech and drive toward the High Atlas Mountains, North Africa’s highest mountain range and a beautiful scenery of fertile valleys along the way. We will be crossing the Tizi N’Tichka Pass 2260m, then drive through the dramatic Berber villages alongside the Ounila Valley to reach the famous Kasbah of Ait-Benhaddou. A fortified village that most of its buildings belong to the 12th century. The sight is recognized by the UNESCO in 1987.
  • However, The Kasbah is also a backdrop for many international movies and series such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones.
  • We will escort you to the Kasbah and explore this authentic traditional sight and walk you through its small mudbrick alleys to reach the granaries which is most fortified spot in Kasbah.
  • We will have lunch in a local restaurant beside the Kasbah and then continue our way to Ouarzazate, known as the Cinema capital if Morocco with its cinema studios and movie sets.
  • In the center of the city, we will visit one of the ancients Kasbah of Taourirt. A pleasant pit stop by the Kasbah before we continue our way to the Valley of Roses through the road of thousand kasbahs.
  • Next, we will drive through the Valley of Roses to reach the Dades Valley, a rang of dramatic landscapes filled with fields of wheat, walnuts, and figs.
  • At the end of the day, we will drop you at your Riad/Hotel in the Dades Valley.
  • Overnight in Dades Gorges at Dar Blues.
day 2: Dades Valley - Tinghir - Todgha Gorges - Arfoud - Merzouga Desert:
  • We will meet again in your Riad/Hotel in The Dades Valley and drive again through the dramatic landscapes. Our first stop will be in Tinerhir town which is a busy mining transit that used to be one of the most important trading positions for the caravans. Few kilometres from town, a palm oasis unfolds like a green umbrella, and beside it lays the abandoned village from the 19th century.
  • Next, we move forward to Todgha Gorges, a 300m orange canyons filled with a crystal-clear river running between the limestones.
  • Our journey toward the desert continues, and we will be driving through the Anti-Atlas Mountains via different Berber towns, villages, and oases. Along the way, we will be seeing a lot of Nomads tending their cheeps, goats, and camels. We will reach Erfoud which is a small city before we reach the desert, a fossil town and one of Morocco’s most export for dates.
  • A 40 minutes’ drive from Erfoud takes us the last heavens on earth; Merzouga Desert. We will arrive a Hotel in the dune lines before the sunset, then, time to relax for a while and use the facilities before you join your camels. Our camel guide will escort you through the Erg Chebbi dunes with a memorable stop at the highest dune to enjoy the spectacular sunset. Next, you will continue your camel trekking to our desert camp where we will meet again and enjoy a traditional Berber music live show around the fireplace.
  • Overnight in Merzouga Desert at Tiziri Camp:
Day 3: Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Ziz Oasis - Midelt - Ifrane - Fez:
  • Today, just before the sunrise a walk to the highest dune near the camp to enjoy the most spectacular view of the sun shining against the golden dunes. Then, back to the camp for shower and breakfast before we pick you up to continue our tour toward Fez.
  • Our first stop will be at the Rissani town where we will take a walk inside the Souq, a local market where people gather to sell their local products such as dates, vegetables, animals, and all the living needs.
  • Then, we drive through the Ziz Oases which is a dramatic palm tree grooves along the Ziz Valley and the source of life of all the Berber villages that lives in the area. Our way continues crossing the Ziz gorges to arrive the Apples city of Midelt where we will stop for lunch in a local restaurant.
  • After lunch, we will drive toward The Middle Atlas Mountains, a scenery of mountains filled with snow most of the year. Our next stop will be inside the cedar trees forest where we ill have the chance to see and enjoy the company of local Barbary Apes. Few kilometres from the forest, we will be in the prettiest Morocco city. Ifrane, a small city built during the French occupation and it represents the European style of buildings and architecture.
  • At the end of the day, we will arrive Fez, and then drop you in your Riad inside the old city of Fez.
