From Marrakech: 2 Day private tour to Zagora Desert

DAY 1 : MARRAKECH - AIT BEN HADDOU - OUARZAZATE - AGDEZ – ZAGORA

In the morning after breakfast, start your adventure by discovering the great south and the Draa Valley for a private tour from Marrakech in the desert of Zagora in SUV or luxury Minivan. We will cross the Berber villages to the High Atlas by the Tizi n'Tichka pass; it is one of the great passes of Morocco at 2260 m altitude. After crossing the mountains and enjoying the change of scenery and dramatic landscapes, we will arrive at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, World Heritage Site built in the seventeenth century. the attractive sites of the region, visit the Kasbah with its fortified palaces with a local professional guide. Near the Kasbah, we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will continue our trip to Ouarzazate where we will stop to take pictures of the old UNESCO Kasbah Taourirt. After that, we will continue south towards Zagora, through the valley of Thousand Kasbahs and the largest palm grove of Morocco about 185 km. Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a mint tea, unwind and organize your luggage for another camel adventure and admire the beautiful sunset over the small dunes and the palm grove. After 1 hour of camels, you will arrive at your final destination in a desert camp in the middle of nowhere, you will spend a beautiful night under a nomadic Berber tent.

DAY 2 : ZAGORA - DRAA VALLEY - AGDEZ - OUARZAZATE – TICHKA PASS - MARRAKECH

Wake up early to enjoy a memorable sunrise behind the mountains and small dunes of the Zagora desert. Then a traditional breakfast will be served. After breakfast, you will reach your hotel in Zagora by camel. After the shower, we will return to Marrakech. You will cross the valley of Draà again through the village of Agdez. We will stop here to visit the Kasbah Tamnouggalte, considered the first Kasbah of the region, 500 years old. Cross the anti-Atlas to arrive at the city of Ouarzazate where we will stop to visit movie studios (optional). After that, we will continue towards Marrakech. A few kilometers after Ouarzazate, we will stop for lunch in a typical restaurant. After lunch, we will pass by the tichka pass, then return to Marrakech and drop off at your accommodation.
