Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Skoura -Dades Gorges
Our 4 days desert tour from Marrakech starts with a pick-up at your hotel in Marrakech and departure to the Dades Gorges. We will cross the famous twisting curves of the high Atlas. On the way, we will stop to visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. This fantastic fortified village, entirely of rammed earth, declared a cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO, where movies like Gladiator, Laurence of Arabia and many films of biblical themes were filmed, there we will have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we will proceed on the 4 days desert tour from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, Skoura, the route of thousands of kasbah, the Valley of the Roses and Boumalen Dades gorges, arriving there in the evening—dinner and overnight at the hotel located in the Dades Gorges.
Day 2: Dades Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga
The 4 days Marrakech desert tour program will be as follows; breakfast at the hotel and departure to the desert of Erg Chebbi, which is our destination. We will pass through mountainous landscapes, valleys, and deserts to get there. We will also pass through the Berber village of Tinjdad, and Erfoud. After lunch, we drive to the desert arriving in the afternoon. There the camp staff is waiting for us to take us in 4×4 to the place where we will take a camel per person, which will transfer us to the heart of the desert of Erg Chebbi to spend the night in the camp. Dinner, Berber music and accommodation in the camp; are the best ways to enjoy this magnificent and unique environment under the most incredible starry sky and the most extraordinary silence.
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Agdez – Ouarzazate
We will wake up early to be able to be amazed by the great sight of the sunrise from the golden dunes before we begin the 4 days Marrakech desert trip. After our cleanliness, we will have breakfast and we will be taken by 4×4 to the meeting point with our tour guide, to start our Marrakech desert tour route towards Ouarzazate, passing through small villages and the famous Draa valley (The longest river in Morocco of 1,100 km. The Draa Valley has one of the most breathtaking landscapes of the whole country, a green belt of palm trees with ocher, reddish or purple mountains of spectacular beauty—dinner and overnight at the riad in Ouarzazate.
Day 4: Ouarzazate – Marrakech
We will have breakfast and leave in the direction of Marrakech crossing the Atlas mountains. But this time through the Kasbah of Telouet, this is a Kasbah along the old caravan route from the Sahara over the Atlas mountains to Marrakech. The Kasbah was the seat of power of the El Glaoui family, which is why it is sometimes called the Glaoui Palace. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
