3 Days Trip To Merzouga

The tree days trip to Merzouga has a busy program full of interesting places to visit and beautiful sightseeing to see and enjoy. The tour is designed for those who don’t have enough time to stay in Morocco. During this short tour you will pass through the high Atlas Mountains and discover the beautiful architecture of the clay building called the Kasbahs. You will visit the Todgha gorges before reaching the point of this adventure which is the dunes of Merzouga.

In the first day you head to Tinghir. After 2 hours of driving you will pass through the high Atlas Mountains by the Tichka pass. The pass is about 2200m over the sea that makes it the highest pass in Morocco. All along the road from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, the way is full of beautiful views through the mountain. In Ait Benhaddou you will have your lunch and make a short of the Kasbah there. Then head to towards and take a picture the famous Taourirt Kasbah. You will pass by the Magouna Kalaa a city known by the production of rose product like soap, cream, and perfumes. Before going to the hotel in Tinghir, you are going to visit the Tinghir gorges, which one of the most beautiful highlights of the tour.

In the second you will continue your adventure to Merzouga. You will have a chance to see the Khattarat, which is an old system of irrigation that uses underground canals to take water from the mountains the oasis in Merzouga. In Merzouga you will have a welcome cup of tea before riding the camels in order to watch the sunset from the top of the dunes, beautiful view that takes the soul. Then you continue on the camels to the camp where you will have your diner and watch the staff performing some music with drums.

In the last day you watch the sunrise and ride camel back to the hotel. After taking a shower you will start way back to Marrakech.
