Depart from Marrakech, venturing through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N Tichka pass. Pause to appreciate Berber landscapes and hamlets, then explore the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. Continue through Ouarzazate, proceeding to the picturesque Dades Valley via Meguna and Skoura. Conclude the day with a night in a Dades Valley hotel.
DAY 2: DADES VALLEY TO MERZOUGA SAHARA VIA TODRA GORGES AND ERFOUD
Embark on a desert journey from Dades to Erg-Chebbi Sahara. Stop at Todra Gorges, Morocco’s largest canyon, and enjoy free time to explore its beauty. Continue to Erfoud, pausing for lunch at the entrance of the Sahara. Reach Merzouga, relax at a hotel, then embark on a camel trek to explore the dunes. Spend the night in a desert luxury camp with drum music in the Sahara.
DAY 3: MERZOUGA TO FES VIA ERG CHEBBI, ZIZ VALLEY, MIDELT, AND IFRANE
Witness the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi desert, ride camels back to Merzouga, and enjoy breakfast and a shower. Depart for Fes, stopping in the village of Midelt for lunch. Nestled at 1488 meters above sea level, Midelt is renowned for its apple festival. In the afternoon, continue to the legendary city of Fes.
